LingUp was founded by Milad and Hossein, two polyglots who understand the challenges of becoming fluent in a new language. Hossein speaks five languages, and Milad speaks four. Both have spent a lot of time improving their language skills. Despite their knowledge, they found it hard to speak new languages fluently.

They realized that fluency requires regular practice, which is often difficult to obtain. Finding a practice partner with the same skill level and dedication is challenging, and tutors can be expensive and vary in quality.

Facing these issues themselves, and knowing others with similar struggles, Milad and Hossein used their combined 20 years of experience in education and technology to find a solution. Hossein had already built a successful educational app, and Milad had experience in developing and growing tech products.

This led them to create LingUp, an AI language partner. They designed this AI to talk naturally with users about their interests, matching their language level, providing real-time feedback, and helping them improve one step at a time. LingUp makes learning a new language more efficient and accessible through innovative technology.
